The book of Galatians is amazing, and yet for me personally, remains the one letter of Paul I’m least familiar with. Paul hums a different tune in Galatians. This isn’t your friendly letter to Timothy, as you’ll see Paul starts off this book pissed! There are some evil-doers going around intentionally twisting the truth of Christ, trying to seduce others to falsehood. Get ’em Paul!
Throughout five entire chapters, Paul gives us a thorough reprimanding haha. But boy is it a good one! Paul spits some truth that you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere and he tackles some very tough doctrinal topics that I, and I’m sure most of you, have wrestled with as well. You will find in chapter 2, Paul provides one of the most concise and clear explanations concerning what it is Christ did for us, and what it means to live under the New Law and to die to the Old Law. Paul goes as far as to call us sinners if we try to follow the Old Law!
